March 9, 2014 – Gregory G. Allen

Show Summary

The show starts off with the guys talking about the new movies “Non-Stop” and “300 – Rise Of An Empire” in theaters now. How do you underutilize Nupita Nyong’o? Don’t blink when you watch “Non-Stop” or you may miss this Oscar winner in a tiny part.

With the Jewish holiday of Purim approaching, Jesse explains the drunken fun of this Jewish festival. We discover that as part of his religious conversion process, Jesse had to appear naked in front of a panel of three rabbis, and he explains the thought he had in his mind to not feel uncomfortable during that moment.

Our good friend Arthur Wooten rejoins us as we talk with another great novelist, Gregory G. Allen. Greg’s works include “The Cool Side of the Pillow”, “Well with my soul”, and… “Chicken Boy”. Greg discusses how “Chicken Boy” has allowed him to speak with school students about children with Autism, and how he’s honored to speak at schools across the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. If you’re interested in learning more about Greg’s books, or to have him speak at your school, check out
